Ida Floyd White, honorary state regent, and a former national vice president general of the Daughters of the Revolution, was the honored guest at a delightfully informal tea members of Seminole 'chapter, D. A. R. at the home Mrs. Sallie E.

Ferris, Peruvian avenue, Palm Beach, Sat. urday afternoon. A quantity of roses and hibiscus was used about the house for floral decorations. During the afternoon Mrs. White, who made a visit to the chapter as state regent four years ago, renewed acquantance with local members made an informal talk on "Education and broadening the scope of education to meet present needs." She emphasized the fact that great opportunities are offered PAGEANT SCHEDULED AT HOLY TRINITY A pageant entitled "The Little Pilgrims and the Book Beloved," by Marie E.

J. Hobart, will be presented this evening at Holy Trinity church in place of the regular service. The members of the two Young People's Service Leagues, under the direction of Mrs. Edith Merritt, have been preparing for some weeks for this presentation. The theme concerns itself in the wanderings of two little pilgrims from the land of darkness in search of Mother Church and her treasures.

Mrs. Thomas Remington is in charge of the costuming. Ida Floyd White and others. NEW HONORS WON BY MARJORIE BYRUM New honors have been received by Miss Marjorie, Byrum, young daughter and Mrs. R. E. Byrum of Upland road, according to from word Brenau received college, here where Saturday she is a competitive scholarship student in the music Miss Byrum elected departmenten to membership in the Lorelei club, undergraduate musical honor society, being one of 12 named at the spring election.

To achieve this honor a student must average 90 in major subjects, 80 in all others, have made at least two public appearances, be recommended by the faculty and voted on by two-thirds of the club membership. A member of the 1931 class of the Palm Beach high school, Miss Byrum won a four-year scholarship for Brenau and has achieved an enviable record there, both in her music and her scholastic work, and has made several public appearances as a violinist. ALPHA SIGMA PI FRATERNITY GIVING ST. PATRICK DANCE Members of the three chapters of the Alpha Sigma Pi fraternity in south Florida, the Zeta chapter of West Palm Beach, the Sigma champter of Miami and the Gamma chapter of Riverside Military academy, Hollywood, are giving a St. Patrick's dance at the Trianon ballroom at Fort Lauderdale Friday night, March 18, at 10 o'clock, and a number of West Palm Beach people are making plans to attend.

Butte Are Married With Quiet Home Ceremony Miss Marjorie Wagner and Richard E. Butte, of Lake Ronkonhoma, Long Island, N. were united in marriage at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob C.

Wagner, 720 Penn street, at 12:30 o'clock Saturday, the Rev. C. K. Vliet, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiating. About 40 relatives and guests witnessed the quiet ceremony.

The marriage vows were spoken before an improvised altar of palms, ferns, crotons and baskets of roses in the arch between the dining room and living room, a large white wedding bell being suspended over the bridal party. Miss Mildred Geer, pianist, entertained with a program of prenuptial music prior to the ceremony, her numbers including "Souvenir" (Karganoff), "Call at Reverie" (Heller) and "To a Wild Rose" (MacDowell). The bridal party entered to the strains of the Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin and following the ceremony Miss Geer played Menedlssohn's Wedding March. Miss Elma Rohrbek, of Peekshill, N. was the bride's maid.

She wore an attractive afternoon frock of figured silk and carried an arm bouquet of pink roses. Charles A. Wagner, brother of the bride, was the best man. The bride entered on the arm of her father, by whom she was given in marriage. The bride wore a lovely gown of white chiffon, with tight fitting bodice with a cape collar and long full skirt.

Her bridal bouquet was of white rose buds and lilies of the valley. A wreath of orange blossoms was becomingly fastened about the head. Following the ceremony an informal reception was given by Mr. and Mrs. Wagner in compliment to the bride and bride-groom.

The dining table, which was covered with a handsome lace cloth, was centered with a tiered bridal cake, flanked on either side by tall candles. Refreshments were served by Miss Evelyn Wagner and Mrs. C. A. Wagner, who also greeted the guests on arrival.

Miss Lucille Dale was in charge of the bride's book. Mrs. J. C. Wagner, mother of of the bride, wore a charming gown in shades of brown, with a corsage of yellow rose buds.

Mrs. Butte has made her home in West Palm Beach for the last eight years, coming here from Peekshill, N. Y. She was graduated at the Palm Beach high school with the class of 1931. Mr.

Butte, with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Butte, of Lake Ronkonhoma, N. has spent the last several winters in this city. He is in business with his father in Ronkonhoma and after a motor trip, which will take the couple through the caverns of Virginia, they will be at home after April 1 in Ronkonhoma, N.

Y. Mrs. Butte wore a smart brown tweed suit with blue accessories for traveling. Price Wilson Miss Thelma M. Wilson and Lester I.

Price were united in marriage at Stuart on March 5 by Judge E. J. Smith. The bridal couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs.

S. Wilson, of Prospenity Farms, and has been employed as a stenographer at Kelsey City city hall. She is active in church work and is a past president of the Christian Endeavor society. Mr. Price is the Mr.

SPONSORING BRIDGE DANCE THURSDAY Members of the Central Elementary Parent-Teacher association are sponsoring a bridge party and dance at the Embassy club, Palm Beach, Thursday night to which the public is invited. Spring made her formal appearance at the Florida State College for Women on Saturday, March 12, when juniors and seniors blossomed out in gay colored frocks for the annual "prom" festivities. The junior-senior prom is the leading social event at the state college during the year and marks a day when girls in the upper classes can entertain their boy friends at the college in a truly collegiate style. Dances were given by the various sororities from 10:30 o'clock in the morning until 6 in the afternoon, while the prom last night in the college dining room served as a brilliant climax to the day's program of merry making.

LEAGUES HOLDING INTER- CITY UNION MEETING The Young People's Service leagues of the Episcopal churches in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Lake Worth and West Palm Beach will hold an inter-city union meeting the Trinity church at 6:30 o'clock tonight.
