After the processional Wednesday night, the invocation was given by Class President Stirling, Ann Q. Anderson, and dean of boys, Melvin Adolpson. Other awards were: Citizenship cups presented by I. D.

Cole to the two outstanding senior girls ond two senior boys, Elliabeth Slerley, Sam Himes, Barbara Buick and John Clarkson. Good citizenship award, by the Daughters ot the American Revolution Seminole Chapter, awarded to the senior girl tor good grades ond such other outstanding qualities as dependability, service, leadership ond patriotism, Caroline Whit-tington. Activities key, John Beers. Approximately 100 awards for merit have been given seniors being graduated tonight in Palm Eeach High School's largest class of 603 boys and girls. The extra recognition includes cups, awards, trophies, keys, citations, certificates and plaques.

Tonight's graduation, starting at 8:15, also will be in Cooley Stadium, "except in case of inclement weather, when it will be held in the high school's new gymnasium," said Principal John J. McDonald Thursday night. Heading the honors, awarded at nnual class night Wednesday in Cooley Memorial Stadium, were the valedictorian and salutatonan cups for the highest and second highest scholastic averages for the four years. Hugh MacMillan with a 97.200 average out of a possible 100 was valedictorian, and Virginia Dale Samler with 96.476, salutatorian. Miss Samler's cup is an annual award by The Palm Beach Post-Times.

Third highest honor is the Senior Class President's Cup, this year awarded to William (Bill) Stirling. Following are the 22 top-ranking seniors scholastically, and their averages: Hugh MacMillan, 97.200; Virgi nia Dale Samler, 96.476; Michael Lyons, 96.279; Betty Mcintosh, 9(1495; Bruce Gruber, 95.953; Reed Guthridge, 95.931; Michael Collins, 95.350; Thomas Seal, 95.268; Beth Cox, 95.000; Judy Barshell, 94.976.
