Also required adult establishments to be 1,000 feet apart, 250 feet from a residential area, 500 feet from public parks and 1,000 feet from schools. The town has no adult establishments but the town code does not refer to them. A final vote is required next month.

Alcohol sales: Voted 4-1 to extend the hours of alcohol sales at supermarkets and convenience stores from 8 to 9 p.m. at the request of Publix. Also allowed sales on Sunday beginning at 1 p.m. Previously Sunday sales were prohibited. Councilman Jack McDonald opposed the change.

Sand transfer plant: Approved a three-year extension of an agreement to pay Palm Beach County to operate the plant that pumps sand from the north side of the Palm Beach Inlet to the south side. The town pays about $230,000 annually. Berettas: Approved the purchase of 55 semi-automatic, laser-sight Berettas at $489 each for a cost of $26,895 for the police department. Specimen trees: Added 32 trees to the list of historic or specimen trees and removed eight others. Now 127 trees are on the list.

Mr. Greenhalgh hail lived here since 1953, coming from Rhode Island. Mr. Greenhalgh was born on November 9, 1906 in South Hanson. Mass to Edward H.

and Bessie (Mitchell) Greenhalgh. Mr. Greenhalgh was the former owner at Eastcoast Plumbing Company. Survivors include his wife of 64 years. Ruth (Crandall) Greenhalgh and his sister, Gertrude Benet of West Hartford, CT.

Also surviving are his nieces from West Hartford. CT. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, March 10. 1999 at Holy Redeemer Episcopal Church. 3730 Kirk Road.

FRANCIS P. HENRY JR. (FRAN) Died Sunday, March 7 after a brief illness at the Hospice Residence of Martin and St. Lucie. He was 79.

Born in Trenton, NJ on December 2, 1919, Dr. Henry was a resilient of Indianwood Golf and Country Club of Indiantown, FL. After graduating from Mereersburg Acatiemy, St. Joseph's University and the Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He enjoyed a long career in private practice as an OB GYN in and around Trenton.

He later practiced in Northern New Jersey, West Virginia and North Carolina before retiring. Dr. Henry ser ved in the U.S. Navy during WWII and in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an Elk. He was preceded in death by Janis Coleman Henry and his twin brother Vincent. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Mariene Sue Henry; his three sons Francis, Coleman, and Adam; stepdaughter Michelle Rene Buck; stepsons Reginald and Richard Hawver; and grandchildren Amy and Kelley Henry and Ezra, Hannah, and Mac Buck. Also surviving him are siblings Betty Ann Sohoeffel, Helen Hayes, and Charles, Joseph and Michael Henry. A memorial service will be held at the hospice residence, 1000 Rhunke St, Sluart on Sunday, March 14 at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent in Dr. Henry's name to: Hospice Residence of Martin and St. Lucie, 3050 Ocean Blvd. Stuart, FL 34994. LOLA HILL HOPKINS Age 85, of Boca Raton, wife of R.

Clark Hopkins, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 1999. Born in Columbia, KY. Resident of Florida since 1937 and of Boca Raton since 1964. She graduated from Lindsey-Wilson Jr. College.

Mrs. Hopkins was a member of the first AU-American Girls Basketball Team, an avid fisherman, golfer, loved boating and water-skiing. She was a life-master br idge player and during the 1940 and 50's played in many duplicate tournaments around the country as well as social bridge with and against the best player's of the time. Her second home is in Harbor Springs, MI. She enjoyed previous second homes in Somers Point, NJ; Georgetown; Gr-eat Exuma, Bahamas; Bucks County, PA; and Saratoga, NY- Lola Hopkins was a member of (he Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club, Birchwood Farms Golf and Country Club, and Grand Slam Bridge Club.

She is survived by her husband R. Clark Hopkins; sons, Neil, Clark and Craig, all of Bucks County, PA. Also her nieces Mrs. Robert (Camilla) Price of Naples, FL; Ruih-Evelyn Wells of Columbia, KY; and Louise Sherman of Palo Alto, CA; 6 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; 4 grand nephews and their families in Naples, FL. Also a grand nephew and Iwo great-grandchildren in Palo Alto.

JANUS Born January 6. 1919 in Chicago. Moved to WPB in 1991 and joined his wife. America who predeceased him on June 8, 1992. Ted (daddy), gently made his transition at Hospice on March 5, 1999.

He leaves his daughters, Barbara (Joseph) Casolare, Luisa (John) Mentz and Son, Raymond Janus and seven grandchildren. Services were held in Chicago. Gene was a charter member of the Everglades Presbyterian Church, where he was a member of the choir. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Worth. He was a resident of Haverhill Care Center for the past eight year-s. Mr. McClure was predeceased by his father1, Cecil in 1989.

He is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Norma G. McClure of Greenacres; his sister, Alma (A.J.) Harrell; nieces, Nancy (Jorge) Cano, Linda (Tom) Wagner; nephew, Mark (Robin) Harrell. In addition, he is survived by grandnieces, Allisia M. Cano and Heather (Justin) Stabley; gr-eat nephews, Jorge Cano, T.J. and Brandon Wagner, Chaz and Dillon Harrell; great greatniece, Allysa Stabley, and many cousins in Belle Glade; aunt, Bonnie Carson; and cousins in South Carolina.

"WALLY" 85, born in Utica, N.Y. and a resident of West Palm Beach for 43 years passed away Saturday, March 6, 1999 at Hospice of Palm Beach County. Wally had a career in newspapers for 51 years. He was employed by the Palm Beach Post for 16 years and the Utica Dispatch for 35 years. Margaret, his loving wife of 64 years was at his bedside when God called him.

He is survived by sons Walter Jr. and his wife Sandra, W.P.B., Robert and his wife Dorothy, Utica, N.Y. and Roger, W.P.B.; 8 Grandchildren and 5 Great grandchildren; his sister Frances Jarmula, Utica. N.Y., and his dear friend and golfing partner Don Rae, W.P.B. He was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Helen Schram and brother Edward, all of Utica, N.Y.

The family wishes to sincerely thank the loving care Wally received from Dr. Charles Schulman and nurse Tammy, Steve Spector, Richard Hoover, Hal Bashein and Henry Stark. 1917 a daughter of the late Ellsmere and Irene (Kelley) Mellville and was a New York City resident since her early childhood. She moved to Naugatuck in 1948 and moved to Florida in 1987, returning to Naugatuck in January. She was a graduate of George Washington High School, in New York City, Class of 1936 and while a Naugatuck resident, had formerly been a Special Services Assistant at Hop Brook School and had been a volunteer with the Naugatuck Y.M.C.A. While a resident of Boynton Beach, she had been a communicant of St. Vincent Ferrer Church in Delray Beach and had been active with the parish Rosary Society.

She volunteered knitting baby sweaters for various charities in Florida and in Latin America. She leaves one son, Donald E. Ward of North Charleston, S.C.; two daughters, Barbara Pesanelli of. Naugatack, with whom she made her home, and Dianne Juliani-Mayer of Charlotte, N.C; one brother, John Mellviile of Ojai, CA and one sister. Donna Kluckman of Fredericksburg, TX; 5 Grandchildren, Kelley Lawton-Coffey, Kathleen Lawton, Elizabeth Donovan, Danielle Juliani, and John Ward Juliani; one Great-Granddaughter, Julia Lawton.

Born in Trenton, NJ on April 15, 1912. MonsiRnor attended St. Mary's Cathedral Grammar and High School in Trenton, NJ and St. Charles Col lege-Ca ions-ville, Maryland. He graduated from Seminary of Our Lady of Angels, Niagara University, NV.

He was retired as Pastor of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church-Princeton. NJ where he served from ISfiO to 1977. During this time he was responsible for the construction of (he present church, convent and rectory. Monsignor Henry was ordained a priest March 13.

1937 by Bishop Moses E. Kiley, Diocese of Ti-enton. in St. Mary's Cathedral-Trenton. NJ.

His first assignment was St. Rose Church-Bel mar. NJ. then St. Mary's Cathedral-Trenton.

In 1942, he entered the U.S. Army as Chaplain and was assigned to the Chaplain's School-Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indianapolis, IN. Subsequent assignments took him to Camp Maxey, Texas with the 407th Infantry and then lo England with the 836lh Engineer Aviation Battallion. He was in Normandy on D-Day plus one and in Czechoslovakia on VE Day. When he returned to civilian life, he was appointed Pastor of SI.
