The 36-year-old Atano is having his usual steady season, but his partner in the front court, Saez, is having the best year of any player who has competed in the fronton's history which dates back more than two decades. Saez won his 121st game of the season Saturday night, breaking the fronton seasonal record of 120 set by Javier in 1968-69. Several of Saez' victories came during the Madrid singles championship which he won by defeating Goros in the finals. The 23-year-old 's full name is Ismael Saez.
