Palm Beach Daily News, Sunday, December 12, 2004 ENGAGEMENTS Stephanie Anne Ercklentz Charles Payson Coleman Ill Mrs. Ridgely Harrison of Palm Beach, New York and Southampton and Enno W. Ercklentz Jr. of New York announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Anne Ercklentz, to Charles Payson Coleman III of New York and Old Brookville. The bride-to-be's mother, Mai Hallingby-Harrison, serves on the boards of a variety of cultural and educational organizations, both in New York and Palm Beach.

Her father is engaged in an international law practice in New York. On her mother's side, the future bride is descended from one of the three founders of the Estonian Republic in 1918, where her grandfather also served as a member of Parliament. On her paternal grandfather's side, she is descended from the founder of the system of social security introduced in Imperial Germany during the time of Chancellor Bismarck in the 1880s. Her paternal greatgrandfather was a practicing physician in Breslau, Germany, the head of a private clinic there, as well as a Professor of Medicine at the University of Breslau, while her paternal grandfather was the representa- STEPHANIE ERCKLENTZ STEPHANIE ERCKLENTZ tive of Commerzbank AG in New York. On her paternal grandmother's side, she is descended from the Grand Marshal Braun of Montenegro who, serving under Simon Bolivar, won the battle of Montenegro in the South American wars of independence and from the founder of Schlubach, Thiemer a merchant banking firm in Hamburg, Germany, active in South America.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Payson Coleman Jr. of Palm Beach 1 and Old Brookville.

His father is a managing partner of Pillsbury Winthrop LLP, an international law firm. His mother is the principal of Kim Coleman Interiors LLC, an interior decorating firm based in Palm Beach and New York. The future bridegroom's paternal grandfather was the late Charles Payson Coleman, formerly chairman of the management committee of Davis Polk Wardwell, a New York law firm. His maternal grandfather, Herbert Conway, was a professor of surgery at Cornell Medical School and chief of plastic and reconstructive surgery at New York Hospital. He is a direct descendant of Peter Stuyvesant, the first mayor of New York, and the late Ralph W.

Gallagher, president and chairman of the board of Standard Oil New Jersey. Miss Ercklentz, 27, is a graduate of The Chapin School in New York City and of Wellesley College. She is manager of public relations for Vera Wang in New York. Mr. Coleman, 29, is a graduate of Deerfield Academy and Williams College.

He is the founder and general partner of Tiger Technology, an investment firm based in New York. Cecilia Lacoste Kemble, Ravenel Boykin Curry IV Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Ashley McMakin of Palm Beach and Mr. and Mrs.

William Tyson Kemble, also of Palm Beach, announce the engagement of their daughter Cecilia Lacoste Kemble to Ravenel Boykin Curry IV. Curry is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ravenel Boykin Curry III of New York. The future bride, known as Celerie, is a graduate of the Groton School and a 1995 graduate of DEBORAH LANDON Harvard College.
